Prom was officially cancelled today. I hadn't planned on going, but I know a lot of people stilled looked forward to it even after the original postponement.

I had also thought about graduation a bit more. I decided to get it over with and just pick up my diploma. I'm plenty content with not having the experience of going to a formal ceremony. It hadn't occurred to me till early this morning that I didn't consider my family not feeling the same way. They would, at least I assume, have likely looked forward to the experience- delayed or not. Hopefully things change soon and we can celebrate in our own way.
